More than 25 years ago, I bought a dehumidifier.
But then when I decided I wanted a dehumidifier in my current house where there is no convenient drain, I bought one with a built-in pump.
And another one.
And another one.
And another one.
These things drop like flies.
I finally realized that I could just buy a condensate pump and use it with my old dehumidifier, which as far as I know still works.
So now I'm printing a pair of funnels, one for the main drain, and one for the overflow drain, that will fit into the condensate pump I just bought, and catch the water from my old dehumidifier.
If that doesn't work, I'm going to buy an expensive AprilAire dehumidifier because they are rumored not to break often. Because they don't come with pumps, the condensate pump won't be a waste of money.
Thank goodness for #FreeCAD, additive loft, and #3DPrinting.
