#HobbyStreak day 1220

School #WarhammerAlliance and I was the only teacher 😖 because everyone else was unwell 😖 while I myself was unwell 😖

Did get a new kid to paint his first model, a #frostrgrave wizard + companion. He did well!

Tried to 3d print sthg which failed, had to monitor all the other students but in the end I tried to quickly paint something too in new kid's palette.

My warrior is a lot worse than his Wiz!

T-11 days until the Trench Crusade campaign weekend!

Final preparations:
1) Identify the scenarios to play and sort into early/mid/late game;
2) Paint a few more Heretic Legion minis;
3) Paint this last big scenery piece;
4) Paint final trench sections;
5) Draft my starting list.

Today's tasks: glued a few sections of the ruined chapel that weren't staying where I wanted. Primed the building and two more troopers.

Partial ruin with three massive red winged demons stood on top of it, and eight Demon Dog monsters in Pink and Grey in front of it. Someone is going to enjoy playing against these and then be completely tabled by all this rage
Brave looking halfling knight on a miniature Pony worth magenta and yellow barding or whatever you call Pony clothes. Dressed in blue and Gray and it's looking rather brave and stalwart inasmuch halflings can, probably because there is the promise of lunch. The Pony is looking bloody determined probably because there is the promise of hay and some slobber.
Stormcast war band for underworlds in nice darkish but still shiny tones and vampire war band for the same system in dark red with purple wings period it's all very moody and threatening which we love
Futuristic train from the first half of the 20th century greebled up with guns and orc teeth and lamps that make it look like eyes for gas lands Urluck has done a great job on the weathering of this as it looks as if it's been through a hell of a lot

A rescued Boneripper being used as a Hell Pit Abomination proxy for The Old World.

Really wanted to push my colour vibrancy for this one, basing the cloth with a way brighter colour than I normally use.

The model was missing two arm connections, so I sculpted one, and used a handful of 5e skaven clanrats spears I had lying around for the other.

Sculpting job is ok at best, but it works… I think.

Sometimes you paint something and it turns out so good you impress youself! Still a long way to go, but the skin tones turned out great. And it only took about 2.5 hours for around 25 of them! I might do some highlighting towards the end, but these work fine for me as they are.

Hoy traigo este perrete de resina de #GreenStuffWorld, parte de un pack de 10 perros imprimidos en 3D. Este es un pastor alemán. Nunca había pintado perros, me ha gustado y estoy bastante contento con el resultado.

School #WarhammerAlliance - lots of running around while getting a bunch of really passive bastards off their phones and onto making #Frostgrave warbands.

Taught them how to do a #zenithal primer and follow that with #Vallejo #ExpressPaints for quick results, and how to apply basing sand.

In the meantime I painted the basis of a dwarven airship for #ageofsigmar
